SAN ANTONIO, TX – The Magicians Agency
Theatre, San Antonio’s family-friendly home for performances by award-winning magicians and
illusionists from around the world, is pleased to celebrate the theater’s five-year anniversary at the
historic Reuter Building in San Antonio’s Alamo Plaza. Since moving into the Reuter’s upstairs venue
in 2018, the Victorian-era brick building has been the perfect backdrop for the Magician Agency Theatre’s
thrilling performances, as well as school field trips, church group outings, corporate events, and party
rentals.

“We’re so lucky to call the Reuter building our home – I can’t imagine a better place to strengthen our theater’s offerings, host world-class performers, and welcome San Antonio families for a night of wonder and
enchantment,” said Scott Pepper, owner of The Magician’s Theatre Agency. “It’s been the backbone of our growth these
last few years, and we can’t wait to see where it takes us next.”
From the UK to the USA
The Magician’s Agency Theatre is led by Scott Pepper, a United Kingdom native who’s performed as a magician for over 25 years. Before settling in San Antonio, Pepper brought his talents to theaters, cruise ships, and arenas around the globe, including performances at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, and on the CW network’s
hit show “Masters of Illusion.”
“When I decided to make San Antonio my home, I didn’t want to set up shop for the Magician’s Theatre Agency just anywhere,” said Pepper.
“As soon as we secured the Reuter building, I knew we’d
found the perfect spot to bring the power of illusion and magic
to San Antonio families.”

When the venue isn’t in action for the Magician’s Agency Theatre’s weekend performances, Pepper welcomes churches,
schools, corporate groups, and party rentals into the antique space. As the Reuter was
built in the 1890s, it’s a key component of Alamo Plaza history.
